2025 Final Instructionss
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Thank you very much for your entry for this year's Maharajah’s Tour, created and run by Craven Motor Club, (www.craven-motor-club.co.uk)
You are required to be on the Show Field at Delta Motorsport, Nuffield, from 9.00 am, where marshals will show you to your parking spot.
If you are having a bacon butty from the lovely ladies from the school, get there early! (Not before 9.00 am please, we don’t want to wake our neighbours!)
The tour will be flagged away at 10.00 am from Delta Motor Sports. Cars will start in age order, oldest first. Your start time will be 10.00 am, plus your seeded time in minutes. E.g. Car 1 10:01, Car 2 10:02, Car 3 10:03
You will enjoy a route of just under 70 miles with a number of fuel stations highlighted along the route. The Tour follows the popular format of a run through the countryside on a variety of roads and plenty of pretty villages (I can only apologise for Oxfordshire’s numerous 20mph limits), giving you the opportunity to stretch your cars legs and some narrow country lanes to give you a chance so see the views.
We've included some fun questions. There will be passage controls for us to check that you are on the correct route.
There are no winners, it's all just for fun!
To aid your navigation please print the Tulip Roadbook and the clue sheet.
The Road Book, Drivers Briefing, Clue Sheet, and points of interest will be sent out electronically on Thursday 17th July. Please print your own copies, or store on your device.

You will be supplied with Rally Plates and cable ties for you to fit on your vehicles yourselves, when you sign on.
Order of the Day

09:00 onwards, park in the show field.

Sign in and collect your rally plate from the Craven gazebo.

Enjoy your breakfast roll and coffee.

10:00 1st car away followed by the rest at minute intervals.

Please obey Marshal’s instructions at all times.

13:00 (approx.) 1st cars start to arrive at Delta Motorsport.

Collect your Finishers Award.

14:00 Answers to the clues published on our Facebook page.

A copy will be displayed on Craven Motor Club’s gazebo at the finish.
